Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
What an exciting week in so many ways! We had a wonderful time celebrating our Homecoming spirit week with both students, staff, and the community. It was a week and weekend of wins. Congratulations to our boys football team who defeated the LC Bears this past Friday and congratulations to our Warren Gold Brigade for their 1st place win at the LC Invitationals! Our Warriors in many areas are on a winning streak. This week we are excited to begin celebrating Hispanic Heritage months. Warren Central prides itself on our diverse student population and the many cultures that make up our student and staff body. Be on the lookout for the many ways you can celebrate with us!
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place October 3rd and 4th this year. You are able to schedule a time in person on October 3rd only and all October 4th conferences will need to be virtual or via phone. Please check your email as teachers began sending out invites and sign up forms last week. Tutoring will begin this week for all students needing additional help with coursework. Tutoring will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-3:45. More information can be found in our school newsletter and was sent out via ParentSquare. Transportation at this time is not available for tutoring. Students will need to provide their own rides home.
Fall Intercession is approaching fast. This year it will take place October 7th-October 18th. We will provide additional academic support/tutoring during the first week of intercession. We will send out additional information closer to the date.
